Admission is offered to students of all communities, without distinction of caste, creed, color or religion in The Ramakrishna Vivekananda Vidayamandir. The seats offered for admission depend strictly on the availability of the seats therefore may vary from year to year. A student has to appear for the Entrance test. Admissions are finalized on the basis of the child’s performance in the Entrance test.
The application forms for admission can be purchased from the school office or through a bank draft. The form is generally made available from the month of October.
For Admission till Class VIII
The Entrance test for classes III-VIII consists of a written test, viva-voice and personality test which is generally conducted in the month of February. The exact date of the test is communicated in the due time.
In the written test, the candidates are examined in: English and Hindi languages, Mathematics and G.K. The duration of the entire test is 3 hours and 30 minutes.
For Admission to Class XI
Candidates who have appeared in the class tenth board examination may apply for admission to class 11 in the same year of passing by submitting the filled-up Application form by hand or through post or online. Aptitude test is conducted in the month of April/May for the screening of candidates.
The following documents are to be supplied to the school office at the time of admission
- Transfer Certificate in original as issued from the last school attended.
- Photocopy of the Birth Certificate issued by the District Authority / Corporation or Panchayat.
- Migration Certificate in original for Class XI (Only for candidates not from CBSE)
- Character certificate in original for Class XI.
- Xerox of the original Marksheet for Class XI.
