‘Ramakrishna Vivekananda Vidyamandir’ has always stood by the ideals of ‘man-making
and character building education’ which was emphasised upon by our founder-director. Swami
Vivekananda’s ideals of ‘True Education’ is the guiding force behind the institution, which
values the building of a stronger Character embedded with values rather than just the
accumulation of Knowledge. ‘Vidyamandir’ believes that a healthy man-making education,
adjusted, graded and distributed among the students as according to their various needs and
capacity can go a long way towards building a stronger society devoid of all evils.
Keeping the
very essence of the thought alive we at ‘Vidyamandir’ believe in recognising every child and
their best for which a dynamic approach towards education is always emphasised upon. Be it
the curriculum or the techniques for imparting education have undergone several changes to
prepare the child armed with confidence to face the competitive world. We believe in
nurturing the child 24X7, for which not only the classroom teachings but teachings beyond the
four walls are important to attain the ‘Holistic’ developments within a child. With the support
of a dedicated and competent team of staffs ‘Vidyamandir’ on its own part is trying to develop
affluent methods to make the process of learning highly enjoyable to attain the greater
milestones of success through our students in the years to come.

‘Education’, as Swami Vivekananda says, is the manifestation of the perfection already in man. For Swami ji, education was not mere collection of bookish knowledge but the one that moulds the character of a man. Swami ji’s views on Education remains the guiding principle of the institution, which emphasizes upon a holistic development of a child in all aspects – physical, mental and spiritual rather than mere acquisition of knowledge.
Vidyamandir, through the follow of the ancient Indian principle of Guru-griha-vasa strives towards the shaping of a child into a complete and perfect man. The institution affirms that a knowledge properly adjusted, graded and distributed among children may go a long way in building their careers. Keeping the very essence of Swami ji’s thoughts alive, we, at Vidyamandir believe and stress to recognise the inherent potentials of each child and harness them to the maximum so as to bring out the latent talent in them. Be it upgradation of the curriculum and inclusion of newer techniques of education, Vidyamandir has always proved itself to be a class apart. The up to date curriculum has helped the Vidyamandirians to excel in their career and life as well.
Vidyamandir believes in nurturing a child at all waking hours. Thus the students stay under the care of competent teaching staff and other staff members of the Vidyamandir family, each of whom contributes in numerous ways in the all round development of the child. Further, Vidyamandir tries to emulate the concept of ‘school without walls’ in its regular dealings with the students. An optimal combination of all these factors go into the process of how at Vidyamandir we create ‘citizens of tomorrow’ as it’s been rightly said that ‘The future of India is shaped in her Classrooms.’
