About Us
The Ramakrishna Vivekananda Vidyamandir is an English Medium Residential Senior Secondary Boys school, registered under the Society Registration Act, 1860 and affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education in the year 1997. The school having its humble start on 18th January 1983 in a rented house at Deoghar (Jharkhand) has long back been shifted to its own campus at Jasidih that is well connected by road and rail with rest of the country.
The institution is located in a calm and quite rural environment on Jasidih – Rohini Road, about three kms (3kms) from the Jasidih Jn. (on Howrah - Patna main line, Eastern railway) and about eight kms (8 kms) from the holy town of Deoghar. Deoghar is renowned for one among the twelve ‘Jyothirlingam’ of Lord Shiva and both Deoghar and Jasidih are famous health resorts. Auto rickshaws and hand pulled rickshaws are available in abundance making the institution easily accessible for the visitors. The famous Arogya Bhawan and the Paglababa Ashram are the important landmarks on the way to the institution.

Brief History
The institution had its humble start with just ten boys at Tripura Kutir in Williams Town, Deoghar. To house the budding strength institution was shifted to another rented campus in Kunda (adjacent to the famous Kundeshwari temple) in the year 1985. The institution got its permanent identity in the form of the present campus in the year 1988. In spite of financial constraints the institution has grown from strength to strength and ensures availability of necessary amenities to impart integrated Value based education to the boy students keeping in view our own culture and traditions. The sincere contribution of Vidyamandir to the society was identified and affiliated upto the Secondary level from Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) New Delhi on 18th June 1997 thereafter upgraded to Senior Secondary level in the year 2011.
